Bournemouth will spend a club record £32m to sign Levante and Colombia midfielder Jefferson Lerma, 23, and a further £25m on Genoa and Uruguay full-back Diego Laxalt, 25. If true huge sums of cash !!

It's only a matter of time before they break their transfer record once again as they bring Croydon's favourite son Wilfried Zaha, ready to try his hand at a big club again, down to Dorset.

The Cherries are clearly nervous about getting the players they want, but paying over the top would harm the club for a long time to come. While international players are commending big fees, the price for relatively unheard of players on these shores is a risk that AFCB may have to take to feel they can attract the players to improve the squad. Take a deep breathe in, it looks like AFCB are attempting to spend really big.

For such an accomplished diver living near Poole should be a huge attraction for the lad.

The 4.75 million pound signing back in 2015 looked like a bargain for them.

Oh come on, Hamilton, give credit where credit is due.....Everybody (all the national press anyway) loved Bournemouth's "fairytale" promotion against overwhelming and almost insurmountable odds.:)

With such a "limited" budget and small crowds, it was a miraculous achievement for "Young Eddie" to drag Bournemouth up from League Two to the top flight.:)
