Here in Georgia there is no minimum. You go to a website, insert what you want and it tells you if available. But I think the max is 7 characters.

They wouldn’t get it. Bet most don’t know the state was named after King George anyway. And I am not the only one with it, saw another a few days ago in Atlanta. But they love my accent

So I have to through this all again as we are now relocating to Texas. Already done a search but it seems most letter/number variation of Albion is gone. But I can get AL810N, SEAGULS, BHA 1901 or BHA FC. Apparently the limit is 7 characters, and I can get white letters on a blue background. I am not doing a poll
BTW anybody else in the Lone Star State?

Try 3M TA3 .... apparently it was actually one that was issued but later banned. Although that might be folklore rather than reality.
