It's a pretty horrible position for Palace really. They need to sell to balance the books and have any chance of bringing in decent new players. And yet, they are most likely screwed if they do sell. I can't see a best case scenario for them. Just lots of different bad/worse case ones.

What a shame.

We don't need to sell to balance the books; we just can't afford to splash out on transfer fees in this window as we have done in the the last couple of years. Any money raised by player sales will be put back into the transfer kitty.

You keep believing that. The accounts say something completely different. [emoji23]

Best situation all round if they stay, and are miserable in dressing room? No new signings.

Also seem to remember we were repeatidly told he'd go/gone for £25M and it turned out to be £10M. This time could it be £30-35M rather than 60/70 with him unhappy and VAR coming in (of which Manure trouser a big chunk)?

I'm sure you're just trolling, but it'd be a shame if other Brighton fans believed this utter nonsense.

Trolling Palace on a Brighton forum.

It is , Know your place .

And your place? Ironic from a Palace fan on a Brighton forum. But then irony, amongst shame, regret etc are often lacking with classless fans who visit here from your club.

Oh and by the way. A comma is supposed to follow the letter, ←like that, and shouldn't be followed by a capital letter unless it's for a noun (that means name).

Clearly the best option is that spurs or some other glamour team make a firm bid via his agent that Dwayne wants a piece of but owl face and Prince Charming refuse. Cue Wilf going on strike and feigning injuries/disrupting the dressing room which leads to an implosion in the team morale and a plummet in performances.

Surely that's what is needed here.

They are paying Zaha £120,000 a week.

I'll say that again. They are paying Zaha £120,000 a week. It'd be a brave club to pick up that kind of bunce (plus bonuses) on a player who failed so abjectly when he moved away from his small Croydon pond (or swamp, if you may). A step up in class does not befit him, lest we forget his comical cameo in an England shirt.

CPFC2010 are obviously falling over themselves to pour £6.5m a year into the trousers of the swivel-eyed gravity whore, being as they quite literally got zero points AND zero goals in his absence last season. After 5 years with their snouts deep in the PL trough, its quite incredible for Disneys mob to have ALL their PL eggs in one singular basket case, but thats where they are. And if he goes, they are BANG in trouble. The stats don't lie.

Their best hope is that he is a Le Tiss-type player, with zero ambition to do anything with his career, just happy to see out his days trundling along coining it with a small club, while the fans there incessantly fellate him. Seriously, check out his Twitter feed some time, when he's "praised god" once again. The replies. Ugh.

It’s seems LFC have also been linked.... however I’ve asked Klopp not to sign him as his caravan would lower the level of Anfield road car park.....

To be fair, the immediate are around Anfield makes Croydon look desirable.

Having read about the clauses held by Man U, Palace will offer another improved contract to hang on to Zaha who is a massive part of the Palace.
I don't think he is going anywhere it just doesn't make any financial sense to sell him.

dunno I'm lost
The Tom Daley of Croydon will still be at Parlarse this season as the price tag (that the Americans have put on him) is worth it to Palarse this season, but no other club.
He's proved he can't cut it at a 'big club', so he'll be earning 120-150k and his ego well and truly pampered.
No doubt he's a decent player but 'world class' ..... Nah.
Average 'big club' player ..... maybe but history would say different.
Big fish in a small, rancid, festering pond soon to dry up .....
