Total waste of time none of the players in the two team want to play just let them come home. Although the bonus is it keeps loads of our opponents players out of the country for a few more days missing their pre season

A waste of time, and no doubt both managers will pick players who have yet to play in the world cup, or haven't played much.

It's a 'no' from me.

I'll be getting back to normal life.

How many World Cup third place finishers can anyone name?

I don't even know where England came in 1990, and that was MY World Cup.

It's like one of those reality TV programmes, say Strictly Come Dancing.

The poor losing semi-finalists, bereft of energy and utterly devastated are then forced to perform once more for the viewers.

They don't want to be there, and the viewers have done all the polite applause and mock commiserations.

We're out and it's time to bugger off home. I should imagine the players wish for nothing else.

We lost 2-1 to Italy in Bari. A half empty stadium and a most forgettable match.
