With the opposition posing a greater threat, simply by biding their time to using the counter and set pieces.

Giroud is having a nightmare, but nobody seems to mind. Is the expectation on him really that low?
He has two world class defensive midfielders suffocating him, every time he has the ball. The same strategy was used to nullify Messi and Ronaldo in most games. It’s the obvious thing to do to the main creator in a team and it works.
England should do something similar to Modric.
