I see. So you believe Tony Blair privatised the NHS then. I think you are so very wide of the mark that the curvature of the earth is preventing you from having even the slightest glimpse of it. Introducing different ways to service the NHS and privatising the NHS are two very very things.

As we move forward we'll have to be even more creative when looking for ways to guarantee the access to the NHS that we all have.

    Long live the NHS.
No need to be an ********. Perfectly valid points. Unless you’re Tony’s love child and believe he’s above criticism.

Having friends who work for the nhs, they don't want a party, they want more resources.

why do they insist on referreing to money as "resources" and they also need to manage the 'resources' they get at the moment a bit better.

Americans who still live in the USA, and have never lived here were chipping in with their experiences of States health care.
What did they have to say?

Most were petrified of losing their jobs, because they would lose on the job health insurance for them, and in a lot of cases their families. Some had had vital medicine removed from their plans, because of cost and had to supplement it with their own money, leaving them with horrific debt. They were the luckier ones, some didn’t even have basic cover, leaving them at the mercy of any serious illness. One lady spoke of a son who had suffered cancer, gone into debt to have it cured, then fell into depression and committed suicide all because of the financial burden and seeing no way out.
It really brought home what a blessing the NHS is for those ordinary people, not rich, who don’t have the terrible financial burden as well as illness to worry about
