Got to the semis in 2002 which included a famous win over Italy. I think that win was a lot better. This one means nothing.

It is fascinating how the last 3 Champions have crashed out in the group stage. If England win it this year I won't even bother watching 2022.
And yet both are considerably greater achievements than anything England has produced in 28 years...
