Our outlook server at work has a fax gateway. If you send an email but set the recipeint as [fax:01273xxxxxx] it goes. Can you do this from your work ?

A quick search of the App Store reveals numerous iPhone-camera-to-fax apps. I'm sure the same exists on the Android side of the fence too.

Your sending it to Japan? You realise a fax uses a phone line and makes a two or three minute call.
ps. I have two fax machines. One in my office at home and one at a factory where I send instructions for work. Would never trust the staff to open and print an email.
I also deal with 6 customers who also send and receive orders only via fax. Nothing like a hard copy in the hand rather than an email.
Another place would be the dump. Look for an 'old' all in one as newer printers no longer have fax.

We have a fax machine at work, mainly as some of our clients prefer to send their documentation via fax.
When I started I was surprised by it as I thought they were long since obsolete.

If you are using a computer with Windows installed, just use Microsoft Fax and Scan. Normally pre-installed. If using Win 10, just press the magnifying glass next to the start button and type fax in the search bar....
