that looks nicely done... i have read posts re putting accelerants on to get the coals going ...deffo a no no .....if you can get cured timber and burn it down to coals with no smoke you are laughing , i have seen some heinous bbq crimes in my years and basically the black soot off coals is offing deadly ...litterally ..!!

I'm at the airport at the moment but I had a quick check earlier today on Alibaba and they had a skewer/kebab rotator for $1.99!!
