Again the commentator (idiot) says amazing atmosphere. IT IS A RUBBISH ATMOSPHERE. Football crowd noise should have ebb and flow as the game develops. Not a constant, incessant din which neither shows approval or displeasure.

Basically yes...the current Iran is a fraction of the empire that covered most of North Africa to India and southern Russia through the caucuses.
