England Lions is supposed to be to provide promising young cricketers the opportunity to play International Cricket.

So it's utterly ridiculous that Sussex lose Jordan, a key player and a 29 year old who had represented England at all levels for a pivotal match to play India's second xi..

Boils my piss.

That IS doing it the 'proper' way round isn't it. Runs first? Have to ask obviously, it being Sussex, but surely not even Sussex could lose 8 wickets in just over two overs.

I'd like to have seen Haines bat: he's really highly rated by the county - they think he's going to be a quality player. I'll see if I can get out there on Friday

Time was when being inserted by Durham would have meant something like 78-5 at lunch...
