Fed up with trains. Sick of the rain.
England Lions is supposed to be to provide promising young cricketers the opportunity to play International Cricket.

So it's utterly ridiculous that Sussex lose Jordan, a key player and a 29 year old who had represented England at all levels for a pivotal match to play India's second xi..

Boils my piss.

Quite. If we lose anyone, it should be Garton, don't see what England learn from playing CJ

WICKET: Matt Salisbury finds Luke Wells' outside edge from a forward defence to give Durham an early breakthrough.

9-1 off 3.4 (Salt 1*) #gosbts

50s for Haines and Salt

I'd like to have seen Haines bat: he's really highly rated by the county - they think he's going to be a quality player. I'll see if I can get out there on Friday

Salt might well go on to be more than decent too, if he can get a good run the next couple of years.

Lovely partnership this between two recent Sussex Academy products.

Time was when being inserted by Durham would have meant something like 78-5 at lunch...

Good work from the club and Gillespie to back local talent.

What ARE you taking about? Durham are clearly still jet-lagged from their long flight but a bit of caffeine over lunch and they'll run through us by tea.
