Will be interesting to see how Spain cope with their recent upheavals. They must have a plan A worked out a while back but going behind could put them in all kinds of trouble. Bearing that in mind I've gone for Ugly Costa as first goalscored at 7/2. Bet often and bet obvious, that's my motto. :wrong:

Looking forward to it.

The first football I will have seen played in this World Cup to date.

Never a pen. What the actual **** is the point of VAR?

Yep.

The BBC apologists will say it was. Defender didn't need to make that challenge, asked questions of the ref, blah, blah.

Ronaldo could far more easier have played on after beating the man, but went for the modern act of cheating.

You try to enjoy modern football and pretend the World Cup isn't just a constant nostalgia yearn. Then you see an odious tax-dodging dunce dive while looking at the ref, to be rewarded with a goal and a commentator describing him as a "wonderful player".

He got touched but it's not a penalty for me, but these days it is.
Anyway obviously a proper game at last.
Hope Mrs Chopper is having fun in the bars on The Algarve tonight.

Can't stand the diving little prick.
I'd love to smack him in his smug twatty face.

BBC lickers. Never outspoken. Allan Green is a rarity, who's always told the truth, upsetting characters such as Pulis and Fergie.
