Jahanbaksh just blasted a free kick 20 metres over the bar - maybe we shouldn't bother?!

Just watched ten minutes of it and nearly lost will to live when I saw the ITV clock say only 22 minutes gone. A quick check online shows it is 77 minutes. WTF? Both sides look like they will be lucky to score nil.

And how come a country that won't let women attend live men's football be allowed into the competition (Iran)?

If we are looking at any of these players we need our bumps felt...they are all shite ad wouldn't get hear our under eight reserves!

Why are these clubs in the WC when they are just ****ingnawful...it was the same with Egypt...

...and Italy and holland are not there.

Even Scotland are better than these two!

Widening *participation. That's why we put our faith in FIFA. Don't you feel a little bit virtuous now? I certainly do.

*For everyone apart from the women, obviously. :shootself

All countries are allowed to compete in football and rightly so.

Palestine, Eritrea, Syria, Sudan, North Korea, etc.. all allowed to compete by FIFA.

Football and politics should not mix. By allowing them to compete we are showing them what freedom looks like.

Or showing that Iran Egypt Saudi Arabia and morocco are completely shitehouse at football

Because they qualified and Italy and The Netherlands failed to?

Provided their husbands will let them watch it on the telly back home. And then they can see lots of their female ex-pats, many with their heads uncovered, in the stadia. Spread that freedom! :ffsparr:
