In my own strange world
I have,at last, been given permission to squander my hard earned money on a lifelong ambition to fly in a Spitfire, have any of you good people out there in NSC land done this and if so who, what, where, when did you do it and have you any words of wisdom on this matter before I blow a pot load of cash on it.Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks!!

No advice whatsoever, but I'm seriously jealous.

...oh and if it looks like a Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in your rear view mirror it probably is. Shoot first, ask questions later. Good luck.

In one answer, bloody enjoy it, it's one of those once in a lifetime events.
Don't forget to wear a fake moustache!

There’s 3 or 4 places you can do it. I used these people, and was utterly delighted.

I know there’s one that operates out of Duxford, and another oxford-ish.

Enjoy!

I flew on Concorde if that helps

Seriously I’m jealous. I believe the owner of Panorama Holidays bought a Spitfire when he sold the company. Great investment I suggest.

You're lucky - they usually come through Kent - so I spent half an hour of my day
today staring at an empty sky - b******s
