The Police. Maybe The Met in a London context. Think I tried calling them the Old Bill as a teenager in the South Stand but that doesn't really work if you have a Lancing College accent.

Must admit when I was detained for er, something, the amount of police with tattoos and built like brickhouses was surprising. Nothing wrong with that of course although I always perceived them to look older and more serious.

Ha! Yes, ever since I saw 'Attack the Block' I often use the term 'The Feds'. I try and use it in an ironic, post modern, "so bad it's cool" sense, but I'm well aware it makes me sound like a complete tosser.
