Didn’t fans from other clubs ( including us ) put money in buckets when you needed it ?

Can you please not bring up things like this, it just upsets them and sends them further into denial. Like how I read that local businesses agreed to take lesser amounts as they wanted to help Brighton stay afloat. Nothing at all to do with the fact that if they did not accept lower payments then they would have got nothing, nope nothing at all to do with that.

Lesser amounts for what or they got nothing? Please expand

Did I miss the Albion going bust and shafting local businesses?

Oh well, yeah in that case it must be true. Where did you see that, Readers Digest?
You can not, and will not, have any idea what you are talking about - and so instead of talking out of your backside about things you know nothing about - do everybody and favour and crawl back to the hole you were rejected from.

But that was a long time ago, in the present term, your club is again playing fast and loose with financial regulation.

I’m really not surprised that you come on here with your whataboutery, you have no other defence for,at best, poor financial oversight, at worst, the beginning of Admin 3.

On Tuesday the Registrar of Companies issued a notice to the company which owns and runs Crystal Palace, CPFC 2010 Ltd, that it will be “struck off the register and the company will be dissolved” in two months “unless cause is shown to the contrary”.

Now they've not only got to provide the accounts, but a good excuse why they haven't been submitted.

He can't explain because we didn't go into administration. Nobody was forced to accept lower amounts. Everyone was paid to their satisfaction. A concept Swillis just doesn't comprehend.

They won't have a good excuse, but they will point out that dissolving the company would cost a lot of jobs, which no one wants, so they will be let off with a little fine.

Companies House doesn't work like that. The company WILL be struck off if accounts aren't filed, OR if a third party such as HMRC intervene on the strike off because they are owed money.

so they had to be in today and still are not ?

No, Companies House puts up a notification that they're going to put a notice in the following week's 'The Gazette', an official government public record of bankruptcies, liquidations, windings-up etc. This will make it public knowledge that Crystal Palace will be struck off the Register unless they file accounts.

Companies House themselves won't do anything more now until 2 months have elapsed, but creditors who are owed money by Crystal Palace who have search alerts for customer companies that get listed in The Gazette may now start asking Palace some serious questions because it is in the public domain they will cease to exist in 60 days.

Nope, they just have to supply audited accounts - that stops the striking off.

You'd have to be a clueless goon to now lend them money for the new stand...

Right, so if they haven't filed the accounts by a given date, they will be struck off, unless, er, they have filed the accounts. That's pretty ****ing dumb writing.

You can also be struck off by Companies House for not filing your Annual Confirmation Statement which is entirely separate and nothing to do with the accounts.
