I’ve got self esteem so no need to be covered in look at me drawings. Plus I can remember the names of pets, family and/or events in my life. Besides, one has a ubiquitous tool for such matters called a diary.

It’s a no from me :)

The most profitable business in the future will most likely be tattoo removal for 70 to 90 year olds in the years 2035 to 2060. At least there will be a majority of the population hoping this technology exists by then. Half will have tattoos the other half will have a partner with tattoos.

Yep these guys and the plastic surgeons specialising in closing up ear lobes that have gone slack following insertion of a ludicrously oversized piercing to “be quirky”

NSC seems to be favoured by an older crowd so I'm assuming the majority won't have a tattoo.

I’m sure I’m probably not the norm, or for that matter normal. I am probably one of the older members of NSC at 58, but didn’t have my first tattoo until I was 54. I now have 4, all personal to me and will consider more in time.

I'm neither a sailor, a footballer, nor do I work at a fairground. So its a no from me.

Same here, and I've also not been in a Russian prison, I'm not a member of the Triads, and I've never been that drunk that getting one seemed like a good idea

We're in a shrinking minority. To each their own though.

My daughter has (what I think) is a horrible tatt of a garter round her upper thigh, with a gun tucked into it. Sterling has got nothing on her.

But, you know, she's 12. So what can you do ?

Christ on a bike but there are some sanctimonious arses on here! :lolol:

My pleasure! I will share that recently in Truro (Truro of all places! Well, it sounds posh and seemed rather nice) I spotted one of those totally tattooed faces, coupled with serpents eyes. What a mess, he or she (because not quite sure) just looked liked they’d been self harming. What on earth possessed them god only knows but it might just have been the devil because they looked like something out of a horror film and people were genuinely crossing the road away from. Irresponsible behaviour by the ‘artist’ too, shouldn’t oblige people not matter how much they want it.

I see life as a transient and ever changing thing so while i have considered a tattoo I have always thought twice because i could never think of something that i would enjoy for the rest fo my life and not change my mind about.

A seagull or my kids names are really the only possibilities.

But Nah, don't think i'll bother now.

Some of the artwork is truly amazing and of course some truly awful , we were on holiday in menorca a few years back and a endearing yorkshire chap was completely covered in all sorts of incoherent gubbins , after a few days by the pool we began to decipher some of the scribble and from the top of the back his neck were places he had gotten into a fight in ! ( the heading of tatt ,( Places iv'e had a punch up ) for some reason which i still can't fathom he had Swansea down twice ! poor Swansea , now NSC being NSC i would think there are those that would poohar this anecdote but sadly for mankind it's very true and actually there were other Nsc'ers in attendance to verify this ridiculous usage of body ink , i almost left out his football club , can you guess ? :lolol::lolol::lolol:
