Worthing
Hmmm let's think about that.

On the one hand we have 25 year old Liam Moore, Reading PotS and not even a year into his new contract.
On the other than there's Tomer, bless him.

I'm sure Barber-out likes your style but I doubt even he would be prepared to put his name to that offer.

Perhaps, but proven forwards are normally more expensive than unproven (at PL level) defenders. (Leicester would have made more of an effort to keep him, if that much potential).

I certainly think they would need to pay us something to secure Baldock and also give us Moore.

Hemmed plus us paying £2m feels right
- ?£9m

If its £5m and we want him surely just pay the money! In the current market and considering what we paid for Propper, Jose and Locadia £5m is a steal if the club think he is an improvement on what we have. Good age too considering his experience.

In fairness you are spot on...Sunday express say we will offer 5 mill for Paddy.... Thinks its more a case of when not if on this one.

2nd bid rejected per SSN

Looks like McNair and Moore going to be our home grown players.

SSN saying , I think, we’ve “improved” our Moore bid - not that it’s been rejected.

Although both Argus and Reading Chronicle reported late last week that whilst interested, we hadn’t actually made a original bid.

This one is all about Goldson exit (or not).

Reading Chronicle say they want 15 million for him....

Ha. Of course they do. And i'd like a 3 day week.
Their (no longer) assistant manager said rather rashly they would turn down £30m in January. What a relief Barber/Bloom/Hughton keep quiet throughout windows.

For that sort of money, we'd want a player who is going to step straight into the team and I can't see Moore as that. The good news, of course, is that if Moore is worth £15m, we should expect to get £20m for Goldson.

Really? Goldson was never our player of the season and has hardly played in the Premier League so although Reading were lower Championship this season I can’t see that is worth more than Moore.

Has anyone told Rangers they will have to up their bid x 5 at least?

15 million sounds like pie in the sky to me though. Expect him to still be playing for Reading next season if they are not willing to more than halve their suggested asking price.

.

Quite. If Moore wasn’t a better player than Goldson then we’d not be looking to bring him in instead of Goldson. We’d just not sell Goldson.

Trust in our recruitment team to be able to spot a player.
