If there isn’t a captain in the team then you might have to look at the best county captain but not the greatest of players. It’s tricky. Maybe just stick with him and hope he learns on the job.

England's performance is enough to drive anyone to drink.
At least in a post-Brexit world, we'll be able to recruit players from Pakistan for the English national team rather than from Portugal or Belgium, which is presumably where our current crop of cricket-flids come from.
