Word is that he and a number of other players, will terminate their contracts because the club failed to protect them. If true, release clause means **** all.

Think as with Spanish sporting law/governance all players contracts have release fees but often the sum is little more than a deterrent and players move for much less.
Hopefully him and Schelotto got on well and he can have a word.

They were trying to attack players that wanted to leave the club, bas dost and others caught in the crossfire.
The irony is now that far more players will now leave, and they will leave for frees.

They attacked the training camp, he wasn't the only victim.
Motives are unclear, Portuguese football is very corrupt. Sporting missed out on CL money (a massive thing over there) by not being able to turn over Maritimo on the last day. So could be backlash because of that.
They also have a headcase for a president, who wants the manager out but doesn't want to pay him off. Some suggest it was orchestrated by him to scare Jesus out.

The only similarity here is that they played/play for the same club.
Dost is the real deal and I doubt we'd have any hope of signing him as some cluster**** of a club would come in and double the wage offer.

Excellent replacement for GM and, considering our reliance on wide play, he'd be an excellent CF. Remarkable amount of goals from his first touch. Doesn't matter what league you're in (too a certain extent) if you're first touch bags a goal.
Excellent positioning, strong. Heads and feet.
Also Dutch so will have mates.
