Surprised anybody could possibly think yes to be honest, it's a cup competition.

Main problem with the CL is it is measured on the success of the previous season, many teams who have had poor domestic seasons (by their own standards) have done well in it.

Only way to discover the legitmate 'best' in europe would be a european league, where Real and Barca would win it most years.
