I genuinely think it was simply aimed at the camera man because he knew he the camera was on him - anyone suggesting it was anything more sinister than that are wide of the mark IMO.
Thank God it wasn't Murray or Stephens. They'd be hounded relentlessly by their haters, waiting in the wings.
