So most of the people on here believe that this match is absolute rubbish, fair enough that's your opinion. But why scream abuse about it? It's a football match being played for charity by a group of people, some after publicity and others who are generous with their time, but all are doing it for nothing. That's a big fat £0. The game is a sell out and will raise a lot of money for charity.
If you don't like it watch a group of overpaid grown men chase each other around a race track, watch a Chilean song or even watch an overweight bloke pretend to be a boxer.
If someone gives up their time for free, regardless of whether it's for litter picking, helping old ladies across the street or playing in a football match, they should be applauded.

Because some of the people on here think they are far too cool, and streetwise and love having a pop at people...read the brexit thread for more examples.

It's for charitee FFS...if you don't like it, don't watch it you morons!

Agree up to a point, and enjoying watching the game so far, but something grates just a teeny bit as we get a succession of multimillionaires asking us to donate a few quid.

Ollie being over the moon that the total is over a million quid. Brilliant, what does he earn a year ?

Gary Barlow. Lauded for his charity work, as in getting other people to pay. Dodged tens of millions in tax, as in the money he's supposed to pay. It's a huge con.

Quite. For the celebs, sure this is great fun........and costs them nothing, and is great PR for them (‘doing it for charidee’). Joe Public chucks in a fortune to allow them to indulge.

Well I think this is a decent match. The battle between Farrah and Bolt isn't exctly intriguing, more like utterly insane. Murs is in the team because he's half decent and someone has heard of him (Lynch? Me too. Son of Kenny?).

And it is all for a good cause so pledge, or watch, or simply **** off. :shrug:

Its a bit like a more professional and less care-in-the-community jeaux sans frontier. Or 'C'est a knockaert' for fans of Eddie's up-and -under, and his serial offender loquacious chum.

That was me, playing my joker.

:facepalm::lolol:

The Racing Post had betting for this 'match'. Recommended Olly Murs to score first. :laugh:

Did assist for the first to be fair, over 4.5 goals at 6/4 was outstanding value with SkyBet.
