Look at the lino. He is starting to run back toward the line before the ref gives it. He's as far back up as the edge of the area (from near the corner flag) before the ref looks at his wrist. He may have been hedging his bets and getting ready to stop moving if necessary, but I'm sure the assistant thought it was in.
