I think Mount would be a fabulous loan if we could secure him. A few weeks ago I'd say we might be in with a shout, but his surge in form at Vitesse in the last few weeks, plus Southgate mentioning him by name and including him in training has probably made it a lot harder. Assuming Chelsea are even interested in loaning him out again, there will be plenty of interest now and it will come down to money as much as player development.

I'm not quite sure why that means we'd be less likely to get him on a year's loan. More than ever in the last thirty-five years, we're an attractive proposition.

I would love to get Tomori back down here.

If we hadn't have got Balogun in, then I would have agreed that the versatility that Tomori would have brought would have made him a good option to have on the bench. If the club are going to bring in a loan player, then he needs be better or offer something different to what we already have.

True, I'm sure we'd be an attractive option as far as the player is concerned, but I don't know how much say they have. As I understand it, if several clubs are interested it usually comes down to who is prepared to pay Chelsea the most. I'm sure player development is a factor too, but money is a big driver and I suspect there will be several PL clubs chasing him for next season.

Are we one of the PL teams after Tom Pearce of Leeds - to replace Rosenior ? May cost a bit, though, or may stay put at Leeds.

He signed a new 3 year deal with Leeds on the 18th of May... he's a very good prospect though

Absolutely.

Delaney next, and also sort out the keepers.

Powell as well if he's not too professionally northern.

We'll need 1 new recruit to be U21, and we'll no doubt get a loan from the likes of Chelsea in there somewhere.

Why ?

I thought (Lincoln aside) Tomori was excellent when called upon. Superb in the air, and capable at CB and FB. He'd be a great addition to the squad, especially if Goldson leaves for the MTL.

Agreed. Goldson is on his way to play for STEVIE G. In the MTL and good luck to the boy. Deserves to play for his hero.

I think he's going to blossom up there and I just hope we've got a good sell on clause.

Looking at that its easy to see how we are interested in the likes of Moore and Mcnair as they fill key slots and are both HGP.. big money has to go on attacking CM player as that is where we have greatest need...
Tau for Baldock??
Cant see anything but goodbyes for Hemed and Skalak which makes summer recruitment a big order again..

Tomori goes out on loan from Chelsea because he doesn't get any game time there. Why would he want to come to Brighton to not get much game time here?

If Krul and Maaenpa both sing then...

11) Moore
12) McNair
16) Nick Powell or Stuart Armstrong
21) The winger from Norwich Josh Murphy
25) Percy Tau

That should do us AND sort out the HGP issue.

16 - Armstrong is surely not HGP ?
21 - Murphy already gone to Cardiff

Worked out alright last time. And he'd be nearer our first team than Chelsea's, especially with his flexibility.
