The arse end of Hangleton
Please not Gove

I agree but probably not for the same reason as you. He was horrendous at Education but appears to be doing a pretty decent job at environment - an environment minister that actually appears to want to protect the environment is a rarity.

Rudd - majority in her constituency of Hastings and Rye - 346
Abbott - Majority in her constituency of Hackney North and Stoke Newington - over 11,000

So someone likes her.

You could say the same about Grant and Livingstone and Khan. Although in the case of the latter, It was more a case of the majority disliking him and not bothering to vote.

Who'd want to be Home Secretary?
A bloody difficult job, whatever side of the political divide one is on.
I would rather be manager of Sunderland!:eek:

Hang on. Do you really believe that this smarmy, band wagon jumping weasel is going to back up all his obvious soundbites?

He was also quite a progressive Justice Secretary, cleaning up after the disaster that was Chris Grayling. He was terrible in the Education department but has seemed very competent everywhere else.

Labours only way of getting support these days is to count on people who have never lived under Labour before, that's generally people who come to this country to work, and young people who believe labour will hand them a pot of gold. This is why labour are so keen to reduce the age in which you are allowed to vote, because they can no longer rely on their old voters anymore, after they pissed so many of us off.

They have been going down that route since 1997. Why do you think Blair and his cronies opened the floodgates to 300,000 to 500,000 new people to this country? Oh sorry, I forgot. It was because we were desperately short of labour to work in online warehouses, pick seasonal crops or work in fast food restaurants.

So they say. Not standing at the next election.

The worst kept secret in Sussex politics. However, given last nights events, that plan might well be on hold. The plan was; (supposedly) Soames standing down next election & off to the Lords somewhere down the line, with Rudd taking the cowards run to Mid-Sussex. Ironic, as Soames done exactly the same thing in 97.

Good. Next, we need to get her straight outta Hastings too at the next election. (If she stands of course)

So that's the 5th cabinet resignation since the election:

Michael Fallon (Being a perv)
Priti Patel (Being into Israeli soldiers)
Damien Green (Being into porn)
Justine Greening (Being into education)
Amber Rudd (Being useless)

Never ever getting my vote again. Not in a million years. Voted for them in 97 and watched them shaft this country big time.

Not an idiot!

Given a toxic job, would have been better if they'd had a full on reshuffle and made him chancellor and sacrificed some muppet to deal with the current shit storm at the home office.
