If we stay in the PL for many seasons, TB will expect to see his loans start to be repaid, but it’ll take a very long time to repay them in full

It’s hard to progress from the U23 squad to the first team squad, especially in the PL.

Safe standing: while lots of Albion fans are happy for safe standing to be introduced at the Amex, very few would actually take up the offer. It’s also expensive to change infrastructure. It’s not a “no”, but it requires govt to change legislation first.

TB to talk to ticketing to see if there’s a way in which away tix can be allocated in a way that increases the chances of people who want to sit can do so and still see the game.

TB won’t be commenting on rumours about him buying another club, but he will say that, whatever happens concerning another club, the Albion will always remain at the core of his footballing interests.

The current 5 year plan involves simply staying in the PL, for the foreseeable future, and possibly forever. We’d hope for a decent cup run at some point (like this season), and even hold out hope for a possibility of European football (like Burnley this season). However, realistically, the goal has to simply be “stay in the PL”.

Hmm, that sounds like a tacit admission. Well, well. Mr Bloom is a very big operator it seems. Maybe plans to use another club as a feeder club (to stop the ‘premier league’ premium being applied - buy them there then ship them here).

If this happens, then I for one would be a very content supporter.

Extremely difficult, if not impossible, to extend the Amex. Even if we could, probably not in the club’s best interests - we have to think that we could realistically be relegated - not good to have 20-25k in a 40k stadium.

Very difficult to control kick-off times for PL games (no control for FAC) - commercial reality...
