[Palace] A small example of what a small club full of small people THEY are

Hopefully, someone with half a brain may point out to the Palace announcer that it wasn't a very sensitive way to behave with a nervous 7 year old.
He may well reflect on it and learn from it. But I somehow doubt it.

It's the tiny things, both good and bad, that define a club.

In this case I'm sure the announcer doesn't give a sh*t and will continue with his rather limited DJ skills and bantz with the amazingly loyal home supporters.

Once a moron, always a moron sadly. I worked in an office where the majority were Palace fans and was always amazed at how deluded they all are.

Why don't you do it .

Cos we get banned for posting ANYTHING outside the away end ob your shower of shit of a forum. And you know it is hence why there are so many (fairly decent largely) Palace fans on here, with not only more posts on here than the BBS, but many with higher NSC post counts than Brighton fans.

Any you're dick forum calls this North Stand Korea and continues to abuse this site and Bozza (the racist ****) everytime I waste 30 seconds of my life and a bit of bandwidth clicking on the shite that is BBS. How he's managed despite several suggestions in 15+ years of running this and not needing to implement an away end *like your shower, I do not know. I digress. You should feel priveleged to post here and a bit embarassed that only the trolls from here post on your biggest and best forum. So I dont think Cheeky Monkey will bother

in front of twenty six thousand people,

Don't tell me you got taken in my the inaccurate page in their programme on season tickets where the number 26,000 was used.

For the record, Palace have not had a home crowd touching 26,000 all season, and there were only 24,656 to hear the crass interviewer.

What does that have to do with the topic?

Fans will be fans, I was embarassed by certain reactions to bangers and flares going off as it is something we have done ourselves.. though we have in my time supporting not rushed a turnstile at the expense of our own paying fans and inadvertently pinned the blame on our own stewards. I've been embarassed about many things, perhaps a bad example but 'poogate' was one, until of course the rumours about the real culprit were substantiated.
you could have just held your hands up and said "yea that was pretty cheap trying to bounce a gag off a 7 year old", but nope, you come on here and throw something completely unrelated back our way.

I understand this is a running gag with your lot but it still persists in baffling me, bearing in mind a good mate of mine is palace and cringes to the bone whenever these claims are made as you apparently suffer from bigger london club syndrome much more than we do down in Sussex (as your bumper PL crowds would suggest). Glass houses and all that.

Psychologists call it Denial, Projection, and Displacement. It's generally used because of low self esteem.
In other words, there are Palace fans on here who are jealous.

We know that their Championship crowds were a lot lower than they get now, but of course they are all loyal Palace fans who have never drifted. So to make themselves feel better, they point the finger at the Withdean crowds and kid themselves that the Amex crowd only ever went to Withdean.

Low self esteem - but who could blame them being Palace fans?

Look at the last six words of his post!

I would like to think he was intelligent enough to mean it as he posted it.

Fair enough. Apologies to ROTR if I misread it and he was being tongue-in-cheek.

Far too subtle for me on a Wednesday afternoon.

Maybe Edna should have been more concerned about the Brighton fans behaviour .

I think she will be considering that soon enough Se20. As far as has been inferred the terrific might of Palace's firm were triumphant in all roads, parks and alleyways. So the 'behaviour' would have had to have taken place by the Brighton fans (weeds) being on their toes. I am sure neither you or Ms Dougie were in attendance but have your contacts to ensure that the Palace boys are shone brightly in the right way with just a few fruit and veg stalls undone as per the usual recounts. Just an inference as always with careful wording.

I enjoyed a Mocha American Latte on the day BTW.

Yet more whatabout-ery from Palace. How predictable.

It's low self esteem. They can't bear to read anything negative about their horrible club so rush in and point the finger.

Two or even three wrongs don't make a right.

Would you agree one of your fans only a year younger than your club was treated like this at the Amex?

They are too dim to realise that if they don't browse to NSC then they won't have to read these 'negatives' - the pixels won't form the words on their screen, and so won't exist to them. [emoji38]ol:

Not just that - I understand that the basis of this 'bantz' is something Uncle Tony is quite sensitive about. He was rightly fuming about the Chelsea fan, in home seats, that started the whole 'Eden can I have your shirt' crap, and is the reason for the severe clamp-down on reselling tickets.

When the Spurs goal went in last night there was a small group in the upper east cheering. FFS.

It might cheer you up to learn that a priceless opportunity to take the **** out of the small club dropped my way the other day when I was visiting the muddy field and collection of sheds that passes for their training ground on business. I bumped into Ian 'Moose' Abrahams, the self-styled legend of talkSPORT just as a clutch of Selhurst Barcelona no-marks including Puncheon, Townsend and Loftus-Cheek emerged into the watery Beckenham sunshine as it tried to force its way through the smoke still drifting across from burning locally-owned Croydon retail outlets.

In a rare moment of inspiration, I said: 'Hello, Moose. Blimey, I've never seen anyone famous here before.' Okay, there was a risk of inflating Moose's already gargantuan ego to bursting point. But it was worth it for the look on Puncheon's face.

Lucky for you that the CJTC didnt pull his belt off his trousers and lay into you. Dispicable w***er

Still no threads on the two flares thrown on the pitch or the vandalism ?
Oh, you're back with your usual bollocks. Vandalism? The report says thousands of pounds worth of improvements had been made to the dump.

There are other threads for all the hoolie-porn and lawbreaking, as I'm sure you'll have already flocked to.

This one is solely about a representative of your football club being a mean little man to a seven year old boy, purely and simply for the purpose of boosting his own ego.
