Life under the Tories: NHS in crisis due to chronic underfunding, the rise in food banks, a huge rise in child poverty, a huge rise in homelessness, rip off landlords, welfare cuts, cuts to cooperation tax meaning cooperations pay less tax than their employees, spectacularly missed economic targets, the longest fall in value of wages since records began, the austerity con, the most unaffordable homes ever, massive cuts to police, fire service and education.

Pray tell, how is Corbyn “far, far worse”?

Certain posters may dress up their arguments that this is about the windrush immigrants and subsequent descendants but it certainly comes across as taking any old opportunity to bash the tories. Typical of this island of socialist labour supporters congregated in this area of the south. Have at it, why not. It wont win Labour any governmental power anytime soon.

He's a very dangerous Putin shill.

...that’s your response to that list? Children are growing up in poverty and all you have to say is some cliche sound bite about Corbyn being a Russian stoodge? Wow.

I am not ignoring it, but cannot see why the words far-right rhetoric has got you into such a tizzy.

He is supposed to be a member of parliament not a childish student using the term far-right where it is not applicable.
Its completely cringe worthy and unhelpful. He has form for bedwetting though so perhaps it should have been expected.

With good reason. They're the government party. If and when Labour enact this appalling policy, we'll go to town on them too...

More transference and meaningless 'whataboutery'.

What does anyone being a Labour supporter in the south have to do with anything?

The definition of rhetoric

noun
the art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially the exploitation of figures of speech and other compositional techniques.

I am afraid that one of this poster's debating techniques is to pick on one or two stray words and use them to try to demolish the whole wide sweep of that person's argument. Perhaps he has read too many courtroom potboilers.

I listened to his speech, which is why i heard him say "far-right rhetoric" which is completely effing ridiculous, which you are still ignoring.

I think you're missing the point somewhat - the far right thing is a side show to the dismal performance of the government on this issue.

Deporting and imprisoning people for trumped up reasons does happen in far right administrations.
Can anyone give me examples of countries that, decide they have citizens, and start to imprison and deport them? Uganda, Germany, any others?

Do we have a far-right administration?

It's the over reaction that I can't stand, and your right any opportunity to blame the tories in the hope we might vote for Labour. Absolutely no chance, never.

Not at all, i am fully aware of both the dismal performance of the Home Office in this debacle and the Lammy side-show.
I can multitask, fortunately it looks like measures are going to be put in place to sort the first situation out, and rightly quite quickly. Unfortunately there will always be idiots like Lammy throwing "far-right" about. I dont think he really knows what it means.

No.
It was a simple point that Lammy using the language "far-right" was overblown and unhelpful.
If you think that term is justified, good for you. I suspect you do,its thrown around with casual ease nowadays.

Take any opportunity? You merely have to sit back for a few days and this cluster-**** of a far-right government will deliver a gold-standard **** up right to your front door.

How do Tory voters sleep at night?

Yes. Wow indeed.

I'd vote for him for sure just to register my very very strong disapproval of May, unfortunately concerns about the security of the country under Corbynsky *trumps* that disapproval.

I'll be dead before I see a Putin stooge in Downing Street.

It will come as no surprise to you that the Impster has already described the government as 'far right' (on the Brexit thread)

I'm blaming the Tories and will not vote for Labour. I cannot stand Jeremy Corbyn.

It is justified on this particular topic. It is a far right action, which is why the government are hastily back tracking because of the storm it has created.

A woman who has worked in the House of Commons serving their food, is sent to a detention centre? A man being denied cancer treatment? How can you nit pick and quibble about words when people's lives are being ruined?
