[Albion] Is beating Spurs at home that far fetched?

Remember we played pretty well against Spurs at Wembley who only took the lead via a freak goal from their full back from the touchline. Also Harry Kane did not score and their clinching goal came right at the end. Repeat and who knows.

It looks likely we will end up 17h this season. Maybe 36 points with a gf of minus 25. Odds being relegated now 8 ro 1 from 16 to 1. We need something from our last 5 games and learn a lot as 9 seasons out of 10, 36 points would have you relegated

If we get a point from anywhere I think that could be at Burnley. Wouldn’t surprise me if we finished fourth from bottom with 35 points though.

A better question would be:-

'will Spurs need to break into a sweat in order to humiliate the Albion?'

I don’t think Spurs have lost this season against a side outside the top 6. Our only hope is if they rest a lot of players, which is a possibility with their cup semi final coming up.

The only way the Albion will get anything from the game is if Spurs rest all their first team squad, under 23's, and under 18's.

Fingers crossed BG wins a fans competition to play with his hero Gary Mabbutt at centre back, although I'm fairly sure they'll still have a yard of pace on Murray.

Did you have to practice to be such a p..t or does it come naturally?

We are capable of getting something from the game imo.

Very disappointed yesterday, but having watched it again this morning even Roy thought Palace were fortunate to get all three points.

Obviously the Corona was flowing last night but when I even suggested that we could still shock Tottenham and win on Tuesday, I was met with laughter.

Stranger things have happened haven’t they?

And whose to say Murray won’t deliver?

Course it could happen, cos we remember those days don't we? Will it happen? Unsure. But only if CH starts chopping and changing the current dull as ditchwater setup that everyone else has worked out.

Looking at the odds now, it seems like a lot of people have been lumping on us to go down I the last 12 hours. Directly after the game yesterday you could still get 16s which probably reflects more the actual probability.

I said when we were 16 to 1 that was utter madness, odds at the time should have been abiut 9 to 2, even 8 to 1 is mad, should be about 7 to 2 now, cannot see us getting more than 36 points. Could not bring myself to back it though
