[Albion] Big big weekend of relegation fixtures

This weekend could be a really interesting one:

Southampton v Chelsea --- Chelsea still looking shaky with no confidence in manager. Not a great team away from home. Quite fancy saints here.

Huddersfield v Watford. --- Watford another pretty average team with nothing to play for.

Swansea v Everton ---- Everton very very poor away from home

Palace v Brighton ---- the less said the better

West ham v stoke ---- 6 pointer. Will probably be rooting for a draw or ham win.

Could be a different picture in the relegation race come Monday night....

Not bothered about anyone except Saints and Stoke. Saints to get at least a point from Chelsea, but West Ham should do Stoke, especially at home.

Still lots of permutations.

The only team in the bottom three that I can think that may save themselves is Stoke and that is marginal. Even if Southampton pulled off a shock win I still can't see them getting enough points. I just can't. If Albion go down we will have no excuses because we've had enough chances to be well clear now (Hudds, Stoke, Saints at home - wasn't here for Everton; West Brom and Watford away)

Agree about Chelsea but, Stains have Mark Hughes and fully expecting the proper Chelsea to show up and rip Saints a new bottom hole.

Hughes may not agree but I feel that the players minds will be more focused on the following Saturdays cup semi final against Chelsea.

Southampton haven’t won at home since November and they’ll have an eye on next weekends trip to Wembley, given Chelsea’s relatively poor away form I’m going for a draw.

Realistically, a win v Palace sees us pretty much home - confirmed mathematically within a week or two of that.

My only concern this weekend is our goal difference which at this moment in time is our extra point but that could and will no doubt change by the end of Tuesday.

Not significantly if they are low scoring games like 1-0 wins what we must avoid is losing 3-0 at Palace.
