Trying to pick a fav 80`s song is simply impossible, too many flashbacks of cracking songs
I had forgotten how simply wonderful this album track was

I live the China Crisis song, and still have the 12" single in great condition.


In the 6th form we relentlessly played Temptation:



Still love it. (In a friendly battle with head-bangers, who wanted to play Def Lepperd and ACDC. Yuck).

Not sure how I missed this thread first time around.

My abiding memory of the Gloucester was that they would always play Blue Monday / This Charming Man / Tainted Love in a sequence every week (but maybe in a different order, or possibly a 'new order'...sorry). I can never hear one without hearing the others in my head now.

Similarly, I still think of some 80’s tunes I taped from the radio, in the same order of that recording. Probably because I played them so much!
