[Politics] Where's Jeremy Corbyn

If you had the ability to read you’d see in my previous post I said that I was not saying that a lack of verifiable evidence represents any kind of conclusive proof that Russia didn't do it, but it does vindicate Jeremy Corbyn over his cautious evidence-seeking approach to the attack. Again, if you had the ability to read you might have picked up on the fact I NEVER denied there was an issue with antisemitism within the Labour Party. The stark reality is people like you, who are so blinded by their desire to discredit Corbyn that they don’t even see antisemitism as the issue, but are merely using it as a stick to beat Corbyn with. If you genuinely cared about antisemitism or the moral integrity of politicians you’d turn that anger against others as well, in this case the Tories (who haven’t exactly had a brilliant week where moral integrity is concerned, as shown by the posts you have conveniently ignored). But, as you seem unwilling to do so, it leads me to the conclusion that, for all you posturing, this thread is nothing more than an opportunity for you to continue to discredit and undermine Corbyn.

That may or may not be the case but there are plenty of people who are angered by anti scemitism from any source and who are concerned by JC and the company he keeps. The Left of the Labour Party and the Right of the Tory party are equally worrying in this regard. You feel that there is a Right wing plot to exploit anti scemitism in the Labour Party. I get that but it happens whenever there is a political story and is only important if you are denying that there is a problem at all (and you have said that is not the case). Just take a look at NSC threads that exploit every mis step by Theresa May. It's politics and is a given for both sides. I would suggest that what is more important to discuss is how to remove anti scemitic attitudes from the Labour Party. Momentum have now begun this process and I would further suggest that continual referencing back to right wing/anti JC conspiracies is simply avoidance of what is actually important to the Party.

Unbelievable that Russia and Putin is defended in any shape or form on NSC, by purported socialists.

Putin's Russia 2018 is a facist state. A state that imprisons opponents, and condones the beatings and murder of homosexuals. Where there are super rich paying no taxes, with armed henchmen eliminating anyone standing in their way. So long as they keep Putin on board.

A regime as far removed from anything that Marx and Engels envisaged, as it could possibly be.

The only reason a UK citizen, claiming to be a Labour suuporter, might warm to Putin is to blindly follow a warped traditional of being anti- all things West, Free World and America

I don’t disagree with what you’ve said. There is an issue that needs to be addressed. The issue being antisemitism. With that being said, surely we should follow the problem to wherever it leads us and that may mean it leads us to places other than Corbyn’s doorstep. I’m not for one moment suggesting that the issue in Labour should be ignored because it exists elsewhere. However, it should also be acknowledged that it continues to exist in other parts of the political spectrum and people shouldn’t pretend to care about these issues, or the moral integrity of politicians, if they can’t see the existence of these problems in the party they support. People in glass houses and all that.

I agree with you. What I find even stranger is that, in recent years, some on the right have started to defend or faintly praise Putin as well. Either the guy is a tactical/psychological genius to get both extremes onside, or we’re seeing a dangerous slide in Europe (and the US) away from freedom, moderation and compassion to vested interests, concentration of power and limitations of freedoms (of speech, movement, etc). Or maybe both. I’m sure the number of people who believe in conspiracy theories on right and left is now significantly greater than it was five years ago. Who or what is responsible for this?

Well, at least there is a pattern in posts, you always have to bring the Tories into to mitigate the failures of others. Regarding the poisoning, we are certainly not privy to the facts, I would imagine that the Secret Intelligence Service already has a sample of the nerve agent and thus the two have just been matched up. They've known for a month, so Corbyns wait and see policy is not appropriate, he's a weak leader and only good when he's moaning about the actions of others whilst doing nothing himself.

For starters I have acknowledged several times that there is an issue. I never denied that. I am merely pointing out the opportunistic and utter hypocrisy of those in the media, The Tories, Blairites and people like yourself who refuse to see similar questionable actions within the Tory party (or prefer to ignore them and if anyone mentions them claim they are ‘deflecting’). As previously stated, pointing this hypocrisy out isn’t deflection if the issue is antisemitism. But quite clearly the issue isnt antisemitism at all. It’s Corbyn and Labour.

Oh and I see your original comments re Corbyn and Russia worked out well. Now I'm not saying that this lack of verifiable evidence represents any kind of conclusive proof that Russia didn't do it, but it does vindicate Jeremy Corbyn over his cautious evidence-seeking approach to the attack.

This announcement from the experts at Porton Down also provokes some very serious questions about Boris Johnson's behaviour, especially his claims that someone from Porton Down told him in "absolutely categorical" terms that there was "no doubt" that the agent was produced by the Russians.

Surely the Foreign Secretary spreading misinformation about such a serious attack on British soil is a resignation/sacking matter?

How to you know its misinformation?
