Music from the Big Pink: The Band
Argos: Wishbone Ash
Elton John: Elton John
Piper at the Gates of Dawn: Pink Floyd
The Doors: The Doors

If push came to shove and it just had to be one album, I’m in agreement with The Velvet Underground and Nico

That must have been the Nashville Rooms. Love Magazine but only saw them on the reunion tour.

To be the greatest debut of all time, there clearly needs to be a Sussex connection to sit perfectly with this forum.

We have our winner:

In June 1991, having finished the recording sessions for Ten in Seattle, Pearl Jam flew to England to mix the tracks with Tim Palmer at Ridge Farm Studio, a residential recording complex in a small town near the Sussex-Surrey border.
