In The market covered place off London Road there is a cheese stall and he makes extra hot Mexican cheese, very nice and a bit of kick to it, they sell small blocks for just over a quid and local.

Just discovered Black Cheddar Cheese Slices. Coloured with Cocoa and Carob. Rich, smooth and very malty. Not to everyone's taste but right up my street..
Not sure about 'up your street', but it does sound like it has just come out of your back passage
