Sounded really good when the Everton fans belted this tune out on Saturday so we could easily adapt this and add this to our repertoire of songs when we’re winning in any game :

I never felt more like singing the blues
When Brighton win, and Palace lose
Oh Brighton, you’ve got me singing the blues

Repeat

It was in our repertoire back in the Goldstone days.

As has been pointed out on here before though, the song is a bit nonsensical as you traditionally sing the blues when you’re feeling low.

That could be deemed a cover version of the old days

I agree - hearing the Everton fans belting it out took me back to the Goldstone days. It’s just taken us all these years since then to get back into the position where the song can justifiably be sung again !

Never heard it. The pillars were in the way.

First time I heard it was from "The Massive" at Highbury, in April 83.

Was pretty impressive then as well. Still beat 'em though. :)

I reckon it would sound great if we adapted Palaces "Eagles" and sang "Seagulls, Seagulls, Seagulls"

We could adopt Sussex by the Sea as the club anthem while we're at it.
