Got there in the end. Great to see that PB has finally succumbed to 'customer' pressure. Tho he'd never in a million years admit it. Fair plays anyway
Except he did and explained why they were working on this new system a while back, which Insider reposted last week.
'We could have had a fully functioning ticket exchange in place some time ago. Again, as previously explained, there have been two key reasons why it hasn’t been put in place: (1) a lack of demand (few sell out crowds) in previous seasons has meant this hasn’t been a priority when budgets have to be prioritised and (2) the available business models wouldn’t have worked for the club – or, more importantly, for our fans. Instead, we have developed a simpler system built from scratch that is more cost effective for the club and, as importantly, for fans."

Didn't you know ? If Paul Barber is mentioned on NSC, @chaileyjem has alerts set on his computer and Apple phone.

Great news, but needs extending to bronze members too (I’m not one).

I don’t see why they shouldn’t be able to re-list their ticket if circumstances change. Maybe a slightly higher handling fee as the club won’t be making much by re-selling it at the standard match day price but better for the fan than losing the full ticket price.

      Very good news.........

Not sure the demand to extend to Bronze membership is really there. Imagine the vast majority of tickets are purchased when people know they can go within a fairly short timescale before the game, unlike STHs where you're committing over a year ahead for some games (without knowing when the games are)

Overall, I expect the club will benefit from this as STH's will be a bit less inclined to give their ticket away free to friends and family members if they can get £30 from the club.

There must SURELY be a limit on how many times you are allowed to list your ticket?

      Do it mention that anywhere?

They would want to create a situation where it is seen as desirable to buy a STH, benefit from the low pro-rata costs, but only go the 6 big games, and return for all the others (assuming the sell-outs continue, of course...)
The above post is simply my opinion. I am not bullying you, should it differ from your own.

This is really excellent (assuming it works!) - well done the club.

Please don't suggest this to the club! Oh, you just did. This is more likely to inconvenience things for long distance fans, of which there are many (and I will be soon).

I appear to be on his permanent watchlist. It's a great honour.
