[News] Sky Reporting Corbyn paid to spy on Britain

Does the law at the time apply on this ? As the cold war was before 1998 does the hangman need to find his noose ?

To be specific, and descriptive, about this execution, it goes something like this :

The guilty man is placed on a hurdle and dragged, from his place of captivity, through the streets to the place of execution. All this time he is at ground level so that his corrupt breath does not affect the gathering of on lookers. He is taken onto the scaffold where upon a noose is placed around his neck. He is then hung (as opposed to hanged) to the point of unconsciousness. The guilty man is then revived(!) and has his privy parts cut off, then sliced open from chest to navel to have his innards drawn out, including his heart, which are then burnt on a brazier in full view of the offender's face. The poor wretch is then quartered - which involves all his limbs chopped off, and his head.

The head is then placed on a spike and displayed on London Bridge as a warning to others of the consequences of committing treason. The limbs are also displayed at the gates of the major cities throughout England.

So there you have it. Be good, keep your nose clean and enjoy your breakfast! :drink:

I've never met a socialist who supported the vile regime in the Soviet Union; it was the antithesis of equality and democracy. There was nothing socialist about the Soviet Union or its satellite states in Eastern Europe. The ruling elites ruthlessly exploited the workers, and lived a life of luxury while the workers starved - a Tory heaven, surely?

you havent met many socialists then. ones i met either ignored or tried to explain it all away, often citing all the bad stuff was Stalinism, even after his death.

Cue the lefties on here blaming murdoch And denying it as if they know him

Oops too late already happening

I'm denying nothing - I'm sure he did meet this diplomat 3 times (each in public, recorded places) and pass him a newspaper cutting. I'm sure they got on well and may have shared some political viewpoints. If the Czechs paid for that, then no wonder the Eastern bloc went bankrupt.

Desperate, deranged, Right-wing smears against Corbyn - yet some idiots will believe it, because it suits their anti-Left agenda.

When it comes to politics, NSC does seem to be full of permanently offended, goady, frothing-at-the-mouth, Right-wingers; working-class Tories. I have to check I've not logged in to the Sun or Express by mistake!

The Right have always used this smear though: wanting to live in a fairer society = being a Commie = being pro-Soviet Union.

It saves the Right from having to address the obscene inequalities, poverty wages, unaffordable housing, and crumbling public services that 35 years of Right-wingery and worship of the 'free market' have left us with, along with flogging off our industries and services to foreigners; very patriotic!

Fake news.

Oh, and this has been done before, back in 1924, when the Daily Mail was frantically trying to prevent the election of a Labour Government

You were frothing and dribbling when typing this weren’t you[emoji23]

Proud to be working class btw!

Just typical of the right wing, cannot praise what the Tories have done over the past 10 years because they have badly failed.
So criticise Corbyn at every opportunity and the pathetic right wing press try to dig up some dirt in desperation.
Are Tories really that stupid to believe The Mail and Murdoch.
Some of the posts on this thread are already childish and ridiculous, and why? because they are scared of his new popularity.
I am not a huge fan of Corbyn but give me him over May and any other of the useless failing Conservatives that are stinking this country out.

I never understand it when I read things like this. It’s complete rubbish. If you took a cross-section of the views on NSC I would wager it is the most left-leaning football messageboard in the country.

Look at the thread about Tom Daley- the vast majority of posters are in support of him and are taking the piss out of the old dinosaurs who have a problem with it. Do you think that would happen on Burnley’s messageboard? Or Millwall’s? Or 99% of others?

Right wing press in Corbyn smear campaign shocker. Happened on the eve of the election. Did not have the desired effect.

Possibly, but given that the ECHR is nothing to do with the EU, they were wrong.

Just as they were wrong about what is written on the side of a bus.......or believing that Johnson, Give & co had any interest other than their own.
Water under the bridge. The rich will get richer, the poor poorer & the NHS as a free to all service will be consigned to history

Back in the day he was a serial rebel Labour back bencher and as such I would presume he would not have been able to access any information useful to the Warsaw Pact.

Even a right winger like me thinks this 'story' is pretty pathetic.

His support for the IRA on the other hand...
