The Press have let him have a little play whilst in opposition and will gradually increase the exposures as we approach the elections, leaving the right amount of time for all the Labour in fighting to peak

Erm, no. I think you'll find it's the press that has constantly been trying to hound him out since he took over the leadership, as their bosses know he will do a lot more than just upset their corrupt and poisonous apple cart

You're missing the point.
My tongue was firmly in my cheek, I was just trying to show how our wonderful gutter press could report a State visit, if, they had an agenda against the Queen and the establishment.

The key word here is “if”.

There is no doubt that the press of whatever political flavour can orientate a “story” to suit their political agenda and that dynamic is as old as the hills, both the Mirror and the Sun do that, and always have done. For most of the sane and reasonable minded within the UK’s population they understand this, and would not hold up a political story from the press as being the unvarnished truth.

What is at play here with this story however is, as I’m sure you are aware, is a narrative of how some of Corbyn’s political views do not reconcile with any sense of affection with the country. Whether or not that is true is moot, the undeniable facts of the matter are that Corbyn has allied himself with individuals and causes that have sought to harm or are at odds with what is perceived by many to be in the interests of this country.

For the record I support a number of Corbyn’s policies particularly on nationalisation and leaving the EU, however he will struggle to engage with significant swathes of the working class because they won’t trust him.

As with the story on Brendan Cox, in the end your past will catch up with you, and whether or not he is a traitor is neither here nor there now........he was ill advised to have got in hock with Czech diplomats at that time.

In contrast for all her faults Brenda is considered to be a patriot, there’s the difference.

It would be a bigger surprise if communist spies didn't have an interest in recruiting someone who spent most of his career campaigning against NATO, campaigning for the UK to unilaterally disarm, criticising UK security services, criticising Uk/western foreign policy at every opportunity, calling for more cuts for our armed forces, hanging around with people trying to kill us, apologist for numerous communist/socialist regimes actions etc

The USSR.
East Germany

No one got hurt, Marxist officials didn't personally enrich themselves, economic success and plenty of Olympic golds were won without the need for doping.

You can see why Corbyn and McDonnell found those countries so preferable to the rest of the world.

So no one got hurt in the USSR or East Germany..............

'Beautiful' 'Amazing' 'Wow, that's great!' - Not my words, but those of photography experts at my picture of Jeremy Corbyn at the start of his packed out UK victory tour back in July, pictured below, back where it all started in true rock n roll fashion at Warrior Square, St. Leonard's. A free gig - for the many, not the few.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue loved him, Sussex Police loved him, someones Golden Retriever loved him - he made the people happy.

Yes it was free and given that who it was, the few turned up, not the many.

In 2015 they fielded NINE candidates. The Monster Raving Looney party fielded SIXTEEN. It's not even like being endorsed by Baron Von Thunderclap

If the Nazi party of GB (BNP/NF) endorsed a Tory Leader and dropped their candidates would you be equally dismissive ???

Ján Sarkocy is now claiming that he organised Live Aid :lolol:

'...However, the interview with Mr Sarkocy becomes even more strange, with the former Czech spy actually claiming personal credit for launching the Live Aid concert in 1985.

During the interview Sarkocy – who was given the name ‘Jan Dymic’ during his time working for the Czech State Security (StB) – began talking about his supposed links to former South African leader Nelson Mandela, before stating (translated):

"Through the unions and peace movements, questions were addressed to Nelson Mandela. It is because he and his team have been involved in the preparation of supporting events. We finally made a concert in Wembley. It was funded by Czechoslovakia"

To which the interviewer asks Mr Sarkocy:

"Do you mean Live Aid?"

Sarkocy, incredibly, responded by claiming:

"I did that. He maintained good contacts with Mandela’s wife. Women are a good source"..'

I think he meant the 'Free Nelson Mandela' concert. But that was later. A serious issue is now pure comedy.

This 'character' has also said things about Babis here. Funnily enough the StB archives have no records of any of it. Corbyn or Babis.

Which one of the three is it? The NF haven't existed since the 70s and I think the Nazis died with Oswald Mosley.

But yes, of course I'd be as equally dismissive as it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference. In any case National Socialists don't vote Tory. Just ask cunning fergus

In that case, I salute your impartiality and consistency. A very rare characteristic on NSC!
