If Huddersfield, Newcastle and Southampton win today...

Bournemouth...31
Watford.......30
West Ham......30
Southampton...29
Newcastle.....28
Albion........28
Palace........27
Swansea.......27
--------------------
Huddersfield..27
Stoke.........25
West Brom.....20

Not going to happen though, is it?

The odds suggest not, certainly, but I can see Huddersfield winning, Newcastle getting a point and then it comes down to which Liverpool side turn up - the good one or the flaky one.

If it does we can just revert to the old cliche “it’s in our own hands, plenty of points still on offer”

What IS worrying is that so many of the relegation candidates have pulled off shock results lately. Just not all three today please.

Today's games (11/02/18)

Quite straightforward me thinks, Huddersfield, Newcastle and Southampton to lose.

If anyone is super nervous about that possibility I will put a couple of quid on the treble.
But unfortunately that will guarantee 2 teams winning and the other missing out in injury time.

In case you were wondering what this whole year of the dog chat is about, it's Chinese New Year next weekend so this is the closest home game to the date. Huddersfield are the Terriers, which is a dog.

Err, I think that's about it

It seems carrier bags are the new clackers

Meanwhile, Bournemouth would become the seventh team Huddersfield have beaten in all four tiers of English league football, along with Bradford, Brentford, Bury, Grimsby, Portsmouth and Watford should the Terriers win. Good to see we're not amongst that select little group.

Already done - couple of quid at 95/1 will soften the blow, should what has been a decent weekend results-wise turn sour

Not to mention appeasing OPE Sports.
Another reason to be grateful the Albion's sponsorship has a hint of class to it.

It was tough watching palace's humiliation yesterday seeing 'Angry Birds' on Everton's shirt.

I forget that loads of you will have BT and be well ahead of me.

It seems that all the games I want are on BT, but I'm stuck with Sky
