A win could see Albion up to 12th, whilst a worst case defeat could see us slide down to 17th, but level on points with Stoke and Huddersfield in 18th and 19th.

Saturday 10th
Spurs v Arsenal (12:30)
Everton v Palace
Stoke v Albion
Swansea v Burnley
West Ham v Watford
Man City v Leicester (17:30)

Sunday 11th
Huddersfield v Bournemouth (12:00)
Newcastle v Man Utd (14:15)
Southampton v Liverpool (16:30)

Monday 12th
Chelsea v West Brom

If results go our way this weekend, we could reach the dizzying heights of 11th!

I’d be more than happy with merely increasing the gap to the drop zone!

12th - 19th could be even tighter by tomorrow evening.

West Brom could also be looking very much cut adrift.

12th per my opening post, is likely the best we can hope for, as West Ham and Watford are playing each other.

We'd need a +7 GD swing to get above Watford. For that to happen it would likely mean West Ham have put a few past them which would also keep West Ham ahead of us too. The only way we could be 11th is if we put a lot past Stoke and West Ham beat Watford by a single goal.

West Ham v Watford is quite a big fixture.

A home win would bring Watford back into the scrap. An away win would put West Ham in trouble and would see us leap frog them if we win today.

But as ever with these fixtures, I think we should be hoping for a draw.

We would go above West Ham if we draw and they lose.

If West Ham win 3-0 and we won 4-0, wouldn't that put us 11th?
It's not happening, just saying

No, West Ham would be above us on Goals Scored.

As pointed out by Coldeanseagull if the games did finish that way then we would have a goal difference of -10 and West ham would have a goal difference of -11. So isn't it possible?

The way I worked it out, we'd be on -10 and West Ham and Watford -11

Sorry, yes.

But, as I said way back when, it's not going to happen is it? I'm happy to have a bet we're not 11th today if anyone wants to give odds!

Let's hope Man Utd, Liverpool, and Chelsea don't decide not to win ( AGAIN ) this weekend.
