If we could have our four game winning streak rather earlier than the last four games of the season (leaving aside the Cup Final) I'd be extremely grateful!

We won the last four to survive on the last day.

We'll be safe before the final 4 games this season, right?

That Leeds game on the last day of the season was my first ever game.

2-0 win and hooked ever since.

I was at that game in the South Stand seats, taken by my dad's friends who I used to go with a few times a season back then. They told me the seats were an end of season treat, and they may well have been, but they were also as far away from the North Stand and any conflict with Leeds that might arise as needs be. Not stupid. Fozzie's goal is one of the reasons he's still my joint all time favourite player along with Ward, Nelson and Zamora.

A point at Burnley away to stay up is my hope!

Win the Coventry cup game then Man City away gets moved back

Make it to semi final then Spurs at home gets moved back

Could have last week of season playing Man U, Spurs and Liverpool

I didn't know about 80-81 so thanks for the info  who went down in the end? and were Leeds of 1981 still a football giant?

Leicester, Norwich and Palace(bottom) went down. We survived by two points in the end.
Leeds game was so tense - was on the East Terrace, 2-0 win.
Leeds were still a big club, lots of their fans in town afterwards. We were walking into town when a car load of them screeched to a halt next to us. Jumped out and asked us the way to the A23. [emoji23][emoji23]

Sunderland away was brilliant with Gary Williams' last minute winner and then realising we were about to die outside

From Tim Carder's amazing book 'Seagulls!'

Yes, the 'Team of the Eighties' went down and only 17 months into their period of dominance.

Leeds of 81 were mid table and heading the wrong way. They went down in 82.

Looking at the top of the table, how things have changed. Aston Villa champions followed by Ipswich, then Arsenal (their usual champions league spot, unfortunately, 11 years too early!), West Brom, Forest.

We also stayed just stayed up with 35 pts at a time when you only got two for a win! Wonder if 35 will be enough this season.

The way we play I really don't know, if not, then we are going down without a doubt.
Depends on which team turns up and what tactics are played, it's like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates.

In 1981 - our last four games were against two of the bottom three and two other bottom half teams.
Our last four games this season are against four of the Top seven
