From what time can you use a match day ticket to get into Brighton on a match day? Assuming it's a 3pm kick-off

Cheers!

If it's anything like the buses it depends how much the staff are either a) ill-informed or b) complete jobsworths.

After an over-zealous (to put it politely) but clearly badly trained rail employee at Polegate Station told us one Saturday last season that we could only travel two hours before the match, I downloaded the relevant piece from the club's website and keep it in my wallet alongside the season ticket. It says quite clearly 11.30 to 9pm for a 3pm kick-off and between 4.15 and midnight for a night match. From the Matchday Rail Travel Zone on the Travel guide section.
