Swansea is our first Cup Final this season.

A must-must-must-win.

Not surprised others have bumped this thread, remains valid. And to meet the 7/8 points that most deemed a minimum from the four games, it now has to be a win against Swansea.

That will at the same time give us our points quotient before the fixtures turn tougher, and also halt Swansea's extraordinary run that has transformed the bottom of the table. They have won four from seven and drawn two others - amazing really given some of their opposition, and they have showed that everyone assuming there are no points to be had against the top six to be had (and I have been guilty of this) are wrong.

But it's us that counts, so a win is vital, would give us the 8 points from the vital mini-set of four crucial games, and a real shot at staying up.

Having beaten Arsenal,Liverpool and Burnley in last four weeks they may well fancy their chances.......

The confidence in their camp will be high, we will need an early goal to knock the stuffing out of them and get them to open up a bit, or else they may sit deep and frustrate like they have done in several games (Liverpool particularly, they scored a header then soaked up pressure for the rest of the match)

2 wins and a draw or 3 wins ???? definately possible from 4 games. Whether realistic is another matter.

5 points from the three we've played, the last match being Swansea, 8 if we win, 6 the draw, 5 the unthinkable.

No, we've already played 3 games of the 4 game run, and got 5 points (this isn't a new thread). We'll get 5, 6 or 8.

It's 8 out of 12, then. Superb effort from the players and coaching staff (and the recruitment team!). It was badly needed, and it gives us a real chance with the tougher games to come.

But it's not done yet, not by a long way. And we may have to end the 'no points against the top six' sequence to get what we want.

4 cup finals coming up. We can't afford to lose any. 8 minimum I think. Tall order.

Well that’s one tall ordered done and dusted

The fact we’ve not given any of those 4 the 3 points is huge too.
