He was the mayor that took over on the day that Bring Home the Albion delivered the then biggest ever petition in support of a planning application (withdean) in B&H. It was at his mayor making ceremony that we did this. In return we arranged a fund raising activity for one of his mayoral charities (off the fence in hove)
