Just under 40 minutes to go. It's been a see-saw encounter but it looks as though the Honey Badger has seen off its famous opponent. Can Jaws mount a final challenge?

Unbelievable from the badger really. Some (myself included) questioned whether he'd still have the desire. Never in doubt- he defines this competition and we are all richer for it.

Poll closed and the Honey Badger is the first in the hat for the quarter final. He showed tremendous fight to come through against a Great White that must be sick of the sight of him.
