I thought it was a brave/good decision. Only because it has sent the pundits mental. It was a tough call IMO, I though he went for the penalty instead of the ball.

Can you find me the rule that says that? Or perhaps not as it’s just bollocks made up by Sky & Co.
Looking by the onfield ref at it means it’s not overruled but he has the chance to change his decision he might say no

I thought the same as you two but this is what the fifa page says: "The referee decides to review the video footage on the side of the field of play before taking the appropriate action/decision, or the referee accepts the information from the VARs and takes the appropriate action/decision."
