Our boiler has suddenly stopped working, completely, as in the display is not showing anything at all - no error codes etc.
Annoyingly, despite having BG cover, they can't come until Friday afternoon.
Any clues? I know nothing about this stuff at all, but feels like it's an electrical issue if the display isn't working.
They are usually supplied via a fused spur on the wall. Try changing the fuse

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
Don't switch it on in September.
It must be cream crackered by now.

I'm not too sure BG is gonna be much help with your Harrison Boiler.
I'd plump for a slightly more tech-savvy poster to give you a hand on Friday.
After my 'issues' over the Christmas period the fella I got in to fix it came highly recommended and after he worked here, the recommendations weren't high enough.
I'll PM you his details if you want.

Checked the fuse box things in the house (the boiler is in the garage) and there are two fuse things marked "boiler" - one on each of two boxes. They're both still switched on, but it doesn't seem easy to get the fuse things out. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

You'll need a small flat blade screwdriver. To pull the fuse holder out
