And the other 2 (I think) were against Palace. That kind of evens things out!!
He cost 4 times as much as Gross and has scored the same number of goals. We also signed Gross before Hudds signed the french striker, hard to believe as Hudds do all their business before us and get much better players!!
If we were going to sign a Championship midfielder I'd walk past a dozen Alex Pritchards to sign one Tom Cairney

Perhaps we shouldn't be so jaundiced as to take that view about any player.
Firstly, CH (together with the recruitment team) are those to recognise potential and suitability of ANY player irrespective of anything which has gone before. FFS, if the club had listened to NSC, we would probably never ever have re-signed Glenn Murray (or any other of several we have re-signed)
Bear in mind Pritchard was quite possibly advised by his agent at the time and 'possibly' regrets the way things turned out for him. He is more than a decent player and we should stop before ever saying 'never'

I'd love to see him join Huddersfield, that would really fire up the Amex crowd when we play them later in the season.
That won't happen. I noticed against Bournemouth that Ryan has obviously been training for rebounds off the woodwork - as when it came off him it merely went behind for a corner. Maybe that's why we swapped Stockdale for him? That and we obviously couldn't afford all the pies Stocky has put away this year....

He's a good player. I'd like us to be the team to see if he has what it takes in the Prem. We can't keep going on forever with Stephens and Propper after all, we do have to upgrade there.
