Google maps will tell you exactly where the hold ups are....it’s what feeds most of the ‘real time’ satnavs.
Re Christmas Day, I’ve done the Sussex to Devon run a couple of times before lunch, and both were probably the quietest journeys I’ve ever had on that trip.
